I’m Going Back to Israel! (So Let’s Look Back…)

“Next year in Jerusalem” just became “this year in Jerusalem.” I’m going back!

In celebration, here are some cool photos from my trip to Israel in 2015…

Selfies atop Mt. Masada after an early morning hike. Behind us, the sun is rising over the Dead Sea.
We made it to the top of Mt. Masada! It was a 5am hike.
Baptized in the Jordan River. A very special moment to me.
We worshiped the Lord on the Sea of Galilee. This was taken after we docked in Capernaum.
It was Wednesday. It was the best, most name-worthy HUMP day I ever experienced.
The view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives.
This was taken after Yad Vashem. It was a very solemn, heart-retching and important experience.
Tel Aviv nights are spectacular, but Tel Aviv beach days are on point too. We swam out to the rocks and got yelled at in Hebrew. Oops.
Our group had a sing-off on the bus, between the front and back-seaters. It got epic sooo fast. I had very talented travel-buddies. When we got off the bus, we saw this view. The other side of the hill is Nazareth. I think this view is also of Nazareth, but to be honest, I’m not quite sure.
This guy runs the Kibbutz on the edge of the Lebanese border (that’s Lebanon behind us) — there’s an incredible bit of history about a battle fought at this Kibbutz. It’s called “Misgav Am” if you want to look it up.
Ceasarea, Israel. King Herod’s palace is on that island behind me. Israel is so cool. So diverse. Words fail sometimes. I can’t wait to go back. I hope you get to experience it for yourself.
